Arosa -Weisshorn
Best Wind Directions
About This Spot
In Summer the only direction available is SW, in Winter it's also possible to TO towards NE.
In Winter TO is performed on the (groomed) ski slopes. Theoretically this is not allowed in Switzerland. On the Weisshorn it's tolerated, as long as one leaves enough space for the skiers/ snowboardes to pass...
TO to the NNW: VERY short, there is NO space for an aborted TO!!! (see picture).
Cable car to Weisshorn: Summer 2024: 8.june -20.october
Takeoff altitude: 2623m
