About This Spot

Small clearing on ridge. Just wide enough for one paraglider. Wind has to be easterly (so called Bise) between about 15 and 25 kmh.

Be aware of eddies between the tall trees after take-off, specially if there is a northern wind component.

Landing fee to be paid to the farmer at the landing area.

When wind is too strong, the launching site at Oberrieden might be an alternative!

Takeoff altitude: 733m
