Bandla is very good take off point: one is west facing and a second is north facing; for hangliders there is a west facing man made TO.

Bandala is a site best for acro; a very big lake is here that make your flying safest while maneuvering. take off is good, flying condition 8 hours in a day, good for thermal soaring, ridge soaring and cross country ...landing is very large even a beginner can do easily. very good, and safe place for training .

Bandala is 400km from Delhi. Hight of Bandala is 810m agl and a big lake (govind sagar) is wating for you beside landing point lake will rise in rany season (july agust and till december, some times january). Good thermal activty: you can reache above lake may be more than 1000m some time and its the main gateway of himachal if u wana reach bandala its just 140 km from chandighar on the chandighar manali highway and 130 km from bir-billing this flying site is open for whole the year .
