The launch options include east, south and west facing. There are mainly 2 cross-country flying seasons, Oct-November and March-May. Tandem operations and short flights are possible from mid-September to mid-July.

Access Notes
There are three options to travel from New Delhi to Bir. By Air: IGIA New Delhi to Gaggal Airport (Kangra, near Dharamsala) and then taxi or bus to Bir Tibetan Colony. Taxi from Kangra Airport is INR1800 as of 2018. By Train: Delhi to Pathankot, then taxi or bus to Bir Tibetan Colony. By A/C Bus (HRTC): Delhi ISBT NE Basement to Baijnath. http://www.hrtc.gov.in/hrtctickets/Availability.aspx
