About This Spot

South west end Dune if wind is northwest, south end or ridge to the north of dune if wind is west.

Careful for low flying quads, they are sometimes driven very fast on the dunes. Due to the need for strong conditions, be careful not to get blown back, dune drops off to the east and you may find yourself in a bad place.

Excellent alternate to La Salinas when conditions are too strong or too north.

Not an official site, but the locals seem friendly.

Do a Youtube search for cantamar or Paragliding cantamar. I do not yet have the gps location, will get it the next trip down.

Takeoff altitude: 43m
