Access Notes
20 minutes north of town on the Steese highway, turn left at the top of the Steese on Pedro Dome road, turn right on the second dirt road, take next right, up the hill to the summit. Cleary is a great site with a half mile of soarable ridge. The main LZ is the parking area below launch which extends twice as long as you can see from launch. Although it is long, it is too narrow for a hang glider. Alternate LZs are the highway (not recommended), ski trails below the highway, and the valley below, which involves a long hike out. Pedro Dome is the closest hill. It also has multiple launches, but most are not maintained.
