The fairly small take off area is largely overgrown with weeds so care must be taken for snagged lines etc.

To the right of the take off about half a km is a major power line. Down past the landing field, next to a main road are telegraph poles.

There is also a major wind farm getting built around the take off site. It is not known if this will block off access to the site or what effects this might have.
