About This Spot

Takeoff is on top on monte Calvo, above Gavorrano city. It's a very nice and super easy takeoff, looking the gulf of follonica and the mighty elba island. Just walk up, set up, and takeoff.

It's a very steep climb walking. Local pilots go to the top using the Defender jeep, but i recommend the walking mode, more characteristic.

Access Notes

Go to Gavorrano and then follow the indication to camping 'La Finoria'. Before turning left to enter finoria camping there's a gravel parking on the right with a restaurant in front of it. Park there and there's the trail with the wood indication 'monte calvo'. Follow it until the top by walking (20 minutes).
