About This Spot
Two of the take-off are free to use for any solo pilot. And even tandem is possible to do here if coordinated with the site manager. The site manager is friendly and speaks English fluently!
The other site is better developed with bathrooms, tables and even a place to stay over night with a running water and showers.
You do need to pay to fly from this site.
All take-off's are west wards and flying starts around noon. This is not a beginners site with low altitude start means that there is a lot of bumpy thermals.
Later afternoon is great evening flying with sunset, this place is know around the island for it sunsets.
Takeoff altitude: 479m

Access Notes
There is a bus about every 15 min from Taichung city and if you get on the right one it will take you all the way to the road that leads to the take-off area. From there it is about 30 minute hike up or you can grab a taxi.
