På sommeren bør man heller trekke ned mot lyngområdene sør for varden. Kommer vinden østfra vil man få gode hangforhold innover Skjerdalen. Kjempefin tur!

Turen opp er tung og lang, så ta det i et rolig tempo. Usedvanlig vakker tur fra Skjerdalen og opp via fagredalen.
