Jijeti

Very easy takeoff, might even be suitable for beginners. Does require experienced people to check that there is no rotor, or lee thermals. So not a flying side for unaccompanied beginners.

Typically a very reliable site. So far only limited luck with cross-country, since often the cloud base was too low, or there was an inversion. Once the cloud base went up to 3500 m, but no connecting thermal found.

Note that the site is also referred to as 'Tianeti', since this is the district that the village of Jijeti is in.

Please be considerate of local shepherds and subsistence farmers. Their goodwill is essential.

No site for unaccompanied beginners.
