Kodungallur PG Site

This is a large and long beachfront facing 270 degree W. Ideal for PPG. Season begins from October and ends by onset of SW monsoon towards the end of May. Wind usually start from east in the morning and turn to blow from SW at 11, then W by 12 noon and from NW after 2 pm. Wind speed varies from 5 kms/hr to 15 kms/hr. Can fly about 30 kms along the wide beachfront with lot of emergency landing options. Max ceiling will be 500 ft ASL due to helicopter service. Motorable road upto the takeoff.

Can enjoy the beautiful coconut plantations from above. There are many canals and harbours and backwaters. People and authorities are co opeative.
