Morningside is a flight park that has existed since 1974. It is an excellent training facility with good instruction and an even mix of HG and PG. Huge LZ and training hill and a 450 ft launch good for transitioning into mountain flying. Great site to work on take-offs and approaches. Ridge is soarable with a west wind and thermals happen frequently allowing some XC potential. Camping on site and a full flight shop, tandem HG and USHPA instructors for HG and PG 7 days a week

Takeoff altitude: 241m
