About This Spot

Short grass slope with trees in front, 600m above landing field.

Brilliant site, hosted South African Open competition here with XC of 50km+ possible. It is one of the highest take-off-to-landing sites in Mpumalanga.
Site and roads are owned by forestry companies - so please get permission before flying or we may lose the site!

Access Notes

Small road out of the Ngodwana valley, leaving the N4 to the south with lane of tall trees next to the road. Permission needed for use - so contact Lowveld Slope Soaring Club first.
