About This Spot

Training hill for Elementary Pilot training used by numerous local training schools. The landing area is not level with pot holes and such, which after having dried can be a cause of twisted ankles and such. There are also thorny shrubs in this area. Survey landing area before going for practice flights.

Site can also be used to practice kiting, especially kiting up to the hill top. However, it may usually be too crowded to try that.

Kamshet is around 110 Kms from Mumbai (Bombay) city and around 85 Kms from Pune city. You can reach here by Road or Rail. You can drive up the hill and then walk up about 100 meters to reach the launch.
