About This Spot

There is an access road to a NWTel building with a large field. Follow the ridge trail up and then hear to an small plateau above the building and field. The take-off is a little tricky to the the sharper edge and there is only enough room for a single wing. In a westerly winds, the angle of the cliff provides lots of lift and the view of the highway, Lake Laberge and even a small mounting lake make this a fun site to fly.

Common to share the air with Raven's and Hawks. There is lots to see along this ridge. One of my favourite flying sites.

A few kilometres before the road to the Lake Laberge Campground (Shallow Bay Road), you will see a dirt road which leads to a small NWTel building.
