About This Spot

Be prepared for a long walk up a steep slope.
best approached from Lisleibane car park.

This is one hell of a STEEP climb so carry plenty water and food. You climb is on the open mountain (no track)

Do not take off low down as the wind higher up may be too strong for PG

Dont fly in an EAST wind...,. rotor from the much higher Reeks ridge is terrible.

Takeoff altitude: 633m

Access Notes

from Killarney, go past Fossa village and take the first left turn towards Gap of Dunloe at the edge of the village.....(but do not go up to the Gap of Dunloe). Continue on this road towards Glencar. After 12-13km, turn Left at the sign post for 'Lisleibane Car Park' Its 2-3km more from here to the new Car Park. Walk the track up out of the car park and your goal is the first big mountain closest to you on the right
