Wadi Mujib West / Hidan

The GPS is approximative : find the suitest launch place nearby and come back here to give the real point ;) Close enough. Just go west bit further to the edge of hill.

I didn't fly this site, so information about it is really weak...
Some guys told me they flew here, and from googleearth, this looks very nice indeed :)
If one of you has the opportunity to test the place and give feedback...
There is a road that goes down the wadi so driving to landing and back up doesn't look like an issue...

Very nice place to fly. One of best soaring sites close to Amman.
Be careful in strong winds. Safest place to land is on the top fields away from any rotor. Experienced pilots will have no problem top landing near takeoff. Volcanic black rock creates strong lift at times. Desert flying conditions in summer, take care. Inversion stops climbs too high. Best not to fly too much above 1000 ft above ridge due airspace behind. NO XC from this site.
