Westbury - Bratton Camp
Best Wind Directions
About This Spot
Hang-glider pilots often elect to depart from the White Horse side due to the nearness of the car park to that takeoff area.
Excellent site with lift on the northerly Bratton Camp between 350 degrees and 040 degrees. If the wind backs you can move over to the White Horse side which works in winds from 260 degrees through to about 350 degrees.
Takeoff altitude: 215m
