About This Spot
Take off is behind the Antenna facing east at the highest point of the Chunya road. There is enough space for parking the car.
Expect a lot of crowd when you go paragliding in Tanzania. As a European they will shout 'Msungu' to you. On the mountain there are less people around, so it shouldn't be a problem to get ready for take off there. The landing itself isn't a problem, but when you are landed, within a few minutes there are hundreds of people around. Packing your stuff together is not going to be possible. So I would recommend that you find someone who picks you up with a car.
Takeoff altitude: 2432m

Access Notes
Take the Chunya road from Mbeya. From Mbeya it is an half an hour drive to the take off. At the highest point of the road(2900m for Tanzanian meters, about 2400m meters in reality!) there is a Antenna. You can park the car there and behind the antenna is the take off
